New 4* hotel in Budapest // 02/16/2007
A new 4 star superior class hotel is being built at Lőric pap spuare in downtowns palace quarter of Budapest. The developer has won the ownership of the former Zichy palace from the local government of the 8th district's competition for handling real estate. The vacating of the former apartment house has recently finished. Building operations of the hotel can be started this july, the opening ceremony to be on early summer 2008. Eighty rooms and junior suites and a small conference facility is built up in the completly rebuilt house. Project costs 1.8 billion Forints. The Italian owner of Best Western Premier Hotel Parlament has majority share in the contractor Italian-Hungarian enterprise.
