Shareholders of the Hilton Hotels Corp have approved the selling of the company for 20.1 billion USD to the American Blackstone Group. The Blackstone takes over the Hilton's debt which is around 7 milliard USD, so the total cost is 26 USD. The Blachstone plans important investments in the Hilton Hotels. The group has more than 100.000 hotelrooms in the United States and Europe. The Hilton has 2800 hotels with 480.000 rooms in 76 countries with assistants. In the last year the profit of the company was more than 8 billion USD.
